What makes effective camouflage

What makes effective camouflage
Creation
Whether through intelligent design or a Divine Creator, effective camouflage actively or passively mimics nature.

Color
Effective camouflage matches both the obvious and subtle color nuances found in both plant and animal life in an environment.

Contrast
Effective camouflage takes advantage of naturally occurring changes in shadow and light.

Contour
Effective camouflage mimics the naturalunsymmetrical shapes and contours of objects found within an environment.

Context
Effective camouflage blends it together to give the appearance of belonging within a particular environment.

Cognition
Effective camouflage confuses the sensory organs and overloads the RAS portion of the brain.

RAS stands for Reticular Activating System.
